jwst.coron.imageregistration.shift_subtract(params, reference, target, mask=None)

Use Fourier Shift theorem for subpixel shifts.

Parameters:

paramstuple

Tuple of xshift, yshift, beta.

referencendarray

See align_fourier_lsq().

targetndarray

See align_fourier_lsq().

maskndarray or None

See align_fourier_lsq().

Returns:

residualndarray

1D ndarray of target-reference residual after applying shift and intensity fraction.
